Our Commitment
Mama Mercy has proven time and again that her commitment to the poor is unwavering, and that she can deliver on these commitments with remarkably few resources. Any funding HUFA has sent to date has had an immediate impact and has been used with great efficiency. Mama Mercy's deep Christian faith has combined with her business experience to be a powerful force for generating support for vulnerable people in her community.
Through annual fundraisers, monthly small-scale drives and corporate sponsorship, HUFA intends to provide the bulk of the annual operating costs for Christ Cares Children's Centre in the long term.
HUFA will also continue to support our two sponsored girls from Rescue Dada for as long as they are enrolled in school.
We plan to grow in our reach and capacity, but for the foreseeable future, we will remain a strictly volunteer-run organization of the inspired friends and family of Avchen Pinkard.
